ds is now 2 years, 7 months, i have never had an issue quite like this one. a while back, i noticed some pain and upon further inspection found a very small bleb on my right nipple, it resolved after a few days, but the pain did not go away so, i looked a little closer. I found what looked like a laceration or some kind of split where nipple meets areola. i put lansinoh on it but hasn't helped at all. the skin looks like it has healed, but like maybe there is some extra skin or something where it mended. the pain has not changed much at all, it is kind of like let down, tingly but much more painful,almost like burning after nursing and during it is almost like a knife!!
I am having a lot of trouble allowing ds to nurse on that side because i am anticipating the pain. I am not sure what to do. any help is appreciated!
