How long does it take before homeopathis remedies kick in?

I've had an awful cough for about 6 weeks and it was finally starting to go away until DS brought a cold home drom daycare.  It's now worse than ever.  I'm 8 months pregnant, so my only option is something homeopathic.  I'm on my 3rd dose of Chestal, but haven't noticed it getting any better.  How long will it take before I feel some relief?

if you have the right remedy, within an hour.  sounds like it's not working for you.  you may need something a bit different.

yes and the homeopath i work under is not one for combintation remedies.  Find the right single remedy you will get quick results

Not until so many weeks have passed that it's impossible to tell whether it just went away on it's own or as a result of the remedy - in my personal experience.

Your cough sounds really bad. Why do you think homeopathy is your only option? What does your HCP say?

I took an arnica-based mix yesterday for my shoulder and it felt better immediately. Like within seconds -- and then more improvement with time. Maybe I'm nuts & it was all psychological, but I don't care because I could finally move again.
