Help me find a seat

Thread Starter

DD is almost 4 years old.   39.5 pounds and 39 inches.    I want something I can keep her in as long as possible.

I'd look at a graco nautilus or a britax frontier.

We are in a similar situation with our daughter. We are most likely getting a Sunshine Kids Radian XT SL. Either that or another Blvd. (this is for another car) DD weighs a bit less and is a bit shorter, but we are looking for the long term answer for car seats.

Are you planning on rearfacing your child in these seats? If you're only going to forward face her I wouldn't get a convertible seat like the ones you've mentioned as you'd be paying for half their use. If you're forward facing only I'd look into the seats the pp mentioned (Nautilus or Frontier 85). If your dd is under the weight limit for rearfacing of the Radian or BLVD and you intend to rf her, then that's fine. The Radian will last longer rf than the BLVD if it fits in your vehicle.

OP, I agree that the Nautilus or Frontier are probably your best bets for long term seats.
