all the gluten/celiac testing options

Can anyone point me to a link or resource that details all the testing options for gluten sensitivity --> celiac disease....including antibody, genetic, stool, etc?

I am looking for resources that are not sponsored by labs or other commercial interests. Thanks!

gluten-free for dummies had a pretty good summary of all the testing options.

There is a pile of misinformation in that book, do be careful.

I would suggest Celiac.com, it is a community site kind of like this one and has a ton of information about testing for and dealing with Celiac.

yeah celiac.com strikes me as a commercial site in disguise.... all their info steers you toward stool testing, which is fine, but I always get the sense that there's something at play there.

We used the ALCAT test for food intolerance testing and it tests for gluten and gliadin sensitivity. It's a blood test. DD2 and I also had the regular blood test for celiac.
