I have just started looking into this - my son had his routine double dose of the oral polio vax (we live in Japan) before 18 months and I have only now found out that some mothers in Japan have been trying to campaign against the oral vaccination because the vax actually GAVE their babies polio. Next baby is due this spring and want to get as much info before they start knocking on my door demanding my baby be vaccinated (in Japan refusal of some vaccines means refusal of public schooling - another area to research).  Does anybody have any articles or info they can refer to me about the oral polio vaccine?
