Hi, I live in Virginia now but first encountered Mothering ideas over 20 years ago in California. Two home births, (1 at the age of 43!) and I'm still going strong. I'm an avid supporter of making informed choices about birthing options, vaccination and breast-feeding. Both my children breast-fed for a combined total of 7.5 years. I have one son in college now and 1 child in 5th grade at Virginia Beach Friends School.
I helped organize the region's first "Mothering Friends" group which has evolved in so many ways! I am Director of International Programs at a private Quaker school in Virginia and co-owner of Adios Adventure Travel. I love my busy life and I'm grateful for the community of support.
