Ugh, I need your energy.

But, since  my list from this morning, I can add on:

Started dinner (mmm.. chicken noodle soup!)

made/cleaned up lunch

ran another load of laundry

grabbed missing stuff to toss in the soup- I was actually OUT of garlic?  How does that happen?!

Contemplated a light fall crop in my garden- still thinking.  Pulled plants that have gone by, prayed for recovery of those that haven't.  They are all yellowing terribly and  I can't figure out why. *sigh*

scrubbed the bathroom

I think I'm done for now.

Not much energy here either today.

Still I did go out twice and got a few things we needed, plus cleaned the bathroom mirrors and did two loads of laundry and hung them all out on the line. Guess I did OK after all?  thumb.gif

Have potatoes peeled and just have to make dinner.

This morning I have put two loads through the washer/dryer, prepared dinner for tonight, vacumned through the downstairs, washed up breakfast dishes and decluttered too small clothes from the children's drawers.

Yes you did. Every little bit counts. smile.gif

This morning:

cleared clutter from mantel and foyer table

washed all the dishes

clean upstairs bathroom   Gack, it was so dirty!

More to do:

gardening -- transplant more kale, weed and seed beet bed

laundry!  Poor ds is having bedwetting issues again

prep dinner

and if I have the energy...vacuum upstairs

Update:

I think that is the extent of my energy today.  Pregnancy is a long road and I am having a slow day.  Still so hot here, though we hope to see some cooler temps by Thursday.  I am off to get the kids from school.  If I can do that and get dinner made, then I have done what I have to and the rest can wait till tomorrow.  Hoping I can get up a bit early and do the garden work tomorrow.

The small things really do add up. My days are mostly filled with small accomplishments. Sometimes that's just holding and nursing a fussy baby while the chaos spins around me. blush.gif

*bejeweled*, that lemon cake sounds absolutely exquisite.

Dishes done, I should do laundry to finish getting caught up- I made great headway yesterday!

I made soup last night, so lunch leftovers just need to be heated.  I'll dig something out for dinner later.

I need to:

Clear off and reclaim my desk

Grab some sheeting plastic or a tarp to cover the garden stuff I want to keep going tonight-  they are whispering about frost as an outside possibility (we then get another good growing period, so a light cover works wonders)

Go through warmer clothes for the boys and find out what I need to thrift- shop for and what I might have to break down and buy (how do two boys 14 months apart BOTH outgrow 90% of their clothes in 6 months?  Even the little one has outgrown the older ones' clothes from last winter!)

Yesterday I got a LOT of laundry washed and dried and got caught up on the dishes...so that was good!!

This morning already I have:

*Made beds

*Straightened rooms

*Fed the small one and set him lose to play outside on the patio

*Folded and put away all the laundry washed yesterday

*Emptied the dishwasher and put the dishes all away

I hope to:

*Go to the store for extra Sunday papers

*Meal plan and make up a grocery list

*Finish reading a book so it can be returned to the library tomorrow (it's overdue)

*Relax, play with kiddo, watch a couple episodes of something on Netflix during naptime!!

*Fix an easy, relaxed dinner

Yesterday was crazy busy (first night of a home group Bible study led by DH) and today I'm just loving having all the main parts of the house clean. Tomorrow I will jump into more deep cleaning/organizing projects...unless I just happen to get inspired to jump into something today, which I doubt!!

The living room looks scary today, so I'm going to go to 10 minutes in there now...

Wow, everyone is so busy today! :)

This morning, I...

...got up at 6am to bake zucchini muffins because it was my daughters turn to bring in snack

...took the three littles to school

...dropped off a movie at my sisters

...brought a few boxes of donation items to the thrift store

...got my glasses adjusted, left my daughter and her friend at the mall

...went food shopping at whole foods

...picked up the girls, got my youngest from school

...got our csa share for the week

...dropped off the food at our house and brought my daughters friend home, got lunch

I have a horrible tooth ache, so I took some medicine. My oldest is picking the boys up from school for me.

Sitting down for a little bit, then gotta:

...straighten up the kitchen (dishes from the muffins this morning to do still!)

...throw some frozen pizzas into the oven

...go to back to school night at the elementary school (hopefully that means no homework!)

I hope to go to bed early tonight! My husband is going to start dropping my youngest at school on his way to work in the mornings tomorrow, so I'll just have to swing the boys around the corner in the mornings instead of the 40 minute round trip taking her to preschool, that will be so helpful! Tomorrow will be a nice relaxing day...probably will just do general straightening and laundry. Thursday I may go visit a friend in the city.
