That's about it today. Looks like we're all kinda blah.....

Raining here today and I'm feeling low energy.. so I concentrated my efforts on cleaning out the fridge and using the odds and whatnots I find to help cook a meal or two. I've got the crockpot simmering with the wilted veggies and leftover chicken carcass. That will make stock for tonight's meal and tomorrow night's stew. I've turned the overripe bananas into a banana bread in the oven. I also put the last of the chocolate ice cream in with some soy milk and another overripe banana to make a breakfast smoothie of sorts for myself.

So the fridge looks better and it helps to make the next shopping list. The house is smelling good with the banana bread baking. I'll pick up just a bit and call it good enough for today.

Today is gray and drizzly and just so... blah. I'm not feeling too well and have zero motivation. Just doing the bare minimum today:

-dishes

-sweep, mop, vacuum

-run garbage & recycling out

-tidy up before ds2's speech therapy later

-wash and put away one load of laundry

-make beds

Yesterday evening I sorted through ALL the bins of outgrown/out-of-season kids' clothes. I threw out a small bagful of stained items and filled two large garbage bags with stuff to donate, and sorted the bins according to who will fit what next. I whittled it down to 4 bins: 2 for baby clothes up to 18mo, 1 for clothes for my 1yo to grow into, and 1 for stuff for my 3yo to grow into (with a few items for my 5yo thrown in there). That was no small task, so I think I deserve a day off now!

OK, I have officially had it with winter. The sun is shining brilliantly today and I have an overwhelming urge to throw open the windows and let the fresh air in but... it's 18 degrees. I need to move South or something.

Today I plan to:

-keep up with dishes

-clean out the vacuum

-vacuum or sweep & mop floors

-get books out of sunroom, decide which ones I'm keeping, and find a home for them

-clean kitchen

-organize kitchen cabinets

-make beds & tidy bedrooms

-clean toilet & wipe down bathroom

It must be the weather. I've been feeling ucky too. I'm hoping to get back on the ball today. AF has drained all the energy out of me the last 4 days. I hope to find some energy and post lots later! smile.gif

I've been MIA for a while now, but want to jump back in!

Today my daughter and I:

tackled counters worth of dishes (without hot water, we've had a 5 gal pot bubbling away on the stove all day)

made beef bone broth

picked up stuff

put the stuff for the thrift store in the car

went through more stuff in my craft corner

posted stuff for sale on spots corner

took the trash out

did 2 loads of laundry (again no hot water)

went to a doctors appt

Still no hot water, despite the maintenance man's best efforts.

Haven't been on much, DS is a lot more clingy than my older two.. He HATES being put down. I thought I would share a picture though, He was about 3 days old in this picture.

Tomorrow is the last day of time off DH has so we have a few things we need to get done:

Meal plan for the next two weeks

Quick grocery store trip (thank goodness I froze all those meals, they have been lifesavers)

set up a nursing area in the front room

quick clean the apartment

catch up on laundry

Get together a few activities to distract the girls

pack diaper bag for doctors appt Friday.

Trip to the library with DD1

I'm still not suppose to be doing much (I lost quite a bit of blood at birth and the midwife told me to take it easy until I stopped being dizzy, that hasn't happened yet) so DH will be doing a bunch of it. I'm praying the girls are cooperative and helpful on Friday, its been a rough adjustment period for them.

Okimom - what a doll smile.gif

Yesterday kind of stunk, literally. Both diapered kids had 3 dirty diapers during the day and I smell another one now. sneeze.gif

I did a couple loads of laundry, put another one in this morning and of course, because I mentioned it to DH, the washer is now failing yet again irked.gif

Anyway, gotta get the kids ready for school and change that dirty diaper!

Oh my, he is adorable!!! I hope you feel better soon. I lost a lot of blood at my second birth and was dizzy and weak for weeks afterward; no fun. hug.gif

Coyotemist, hope your hot water issue gets resolved soon!

Today I plan to:

-keep up with dishes

-take garbage and recycling to curb

-vacuum stairs and second floor

-make beds, tidy bedrooms

-sweep the kitchen (ds3 made quite the mess with his Cheerios at breakfast)

-wash & put away one load of laundry

-wash and re-hang living room curtains

-clean stovetop drip pans

-help ds1 work on his Illustory book

-wipe down bathroom blinds

-try to convince dh to tidy up his dresser a bit; or just do it myself (everything is neat and organized in our bedroom except for his dresser, which looks like it exploded. It's covered with clothes and random stuff about a foot thick and I'm tired of looking at it, lol)

Have a great day, ladies!

Got the kids ready and brought to school with no tears smile.gif

Just spent 20 minutes on laundry and bagged 75 baby clothing items that no longer fit my children thumb.gif

I plan to alternate 15 minute sessions today between laundry, kitchen, and the kids' playroom. Perhaps, if I get enough accomplished, I'll move my two older kids into the playroom tonight where the bunk beds have been sitting, collecting toys and dust.
