Poetry- joy.gifGood for you! Its great when your house is clean smile.gif

I didn't get everything done but I got most of it.. Tomorrow I need to:

Carried over from today:

finish front of sweater (1)

fix back of sweater (11)

sew front to back (12)

to do list for when DH comes (13)

To Dos for tomorrow:

clean kitchen (2)

clean fridge (3)

clean microwave (4)

clean both bathrooms (5)

go to store and get a couple small plastic containers for the kids to put their favorite toys in (these will come with us in the van on moving day, everything else will be packed in the moving truck) (10)

check mail (11)

pack up Christmas decorations (12)

mop all tiled areas (6)

break down boxes for recycling (4)

take cans to the street (5) and return them back

work out (30 minute run) (1)

shower/dress (2)

take care of the pets (3)

sew buttons to both dresses (7)

sew buttonholes (8)

hem the dress not hemmed yet (9)

I'm trying to finish all the half done projects I have laying around before the move. Otherwise parts of them are going to get lost on the move and then they will never get done. I numbered the first 15 I would like to get done so I don't sit around half the morning trying to figure out what I want to get done first.

bejeweled- Im glad your daughter is alright!

I didn't get much done yesterday after getting back from errands.. Then I woke up this morning with a horrible headache. I also slept wrong so my neck is killing me. I went back to sleep for a bit and just now woke up..Today Im going to try to concentrate on finishing the half done projects littering my kitchen and living room so I can really clean up.

To Do:

fix the back of the sweater (just realized I messed up on it ughs)

finish sewing in the tails of yarn

sew front of sweater to back of sweater

collar

fix the bodice of the dress where the fabric wasn't all caught

make button holes on dress

sew on buttons

hem the 1 dress not hemmed yet

finish the crayon rolls not done yet

finish sewing the straps and closure to the messenger bag

finish sewing the roads on the carmat then sew the front to the back of the mat

do the buttonholes and buttons on the two infant outfits

I really need to stop doing multiple projects at once, I end up with a whole lot of projects that are ALMOST done but not quite then I get side tracked with something else. Im going to work on the sewing projects first and I hope to get them done by lunch then work on the sweater after lunch.

Monkey- that sucks about your laptop, hopefully its fixed soon..

I ended up not getting anything really done yesterday.. I had a migraine lingering all day then it got horrible at night.. Ended up taking some benedryl (a lot of times for me migraines are triggered by allergies) and slept.. Woke up with it still there so my to do list today will be light.. I'm hoping it goes away so we can have some fun tomorrow. Usually we play games all day and stay up late eating junk food (bad I know but the kids enjoy it!) but if I feel like I do now its not happening.

To Dos:

go to the store for some migraine meds and sparkling cider for tomorrow, also pick up photo collage for DH

find my seam ripper so I can fix the girls dresses for Sunday

sew on buttons on the girl's dresses

pick up around the house

clean the dogs crate

drop off rent check

check mail

Work of sweater if I can manage it

order photo mug for DH

order yarn for DSs birthday sweater

order fabric for DD's birthday outfit, DS's birthday shirt and picture outfits

That is the sum of what I'm going to try to get done.. Hopefully I get some of it done at least!

Hi everyone! Oki, that sounds like a fun way to spend New Years day. I have cleaning to do today. TONS of dishes from our Indian dinner last night and general laundry and picking up. I haven't done much at all today, so I must get busy. goodvibes.gif

So far I have:

Made coffee and oatmeal for breakfast

Composed an email

Heated up leftover Indian food for lunch and made cous cous to go with it

Called my sister to talk for the first time since she birthed her baby girl yesterday (and am awaiting a call back)

I need to:

Wash a load of diapers

Wash the mountain of dishes

Clean the counter, table & stove

Sweep around the table from lunch

Pick up the living room, bedroom and kitchen

Fold & put away the clothes in the dryer

Wash a load of regular laundry

Do some writing

Hi everyone! Hard to believe it's the last day of 2011.  yikes.gif  Going to relatives for a BBQ tonight for New Year's Eve, we are just taking our 9 year old...both my daughters are going to parties which look over Sydney Harbour so they should get a good view of the fireworks!

MP very sorry to hear about your laptop...hope you can get it fixed?

Oki I hope your migraine is all gone.

B and Poetry I hope you both had productive days! smile.gif

The day before yesterday I was so full of energy and went round like a robot just cleaning all day and probably overdid it, so yesterday I was tired and blaah....hopefully I can reach a happy medium today and not overdo it.  We finally have a new dishwasher for upstairs, bought it at the Boxing Day sale...hooray!!  It's making a huge difference to how much work I have to do. joy.gif

Done so far:

made beds

made coffee

2 loads of washing on

one load of washing hung out

sheets off bed

books added to reading list

emptied upstairs dishwasher orngbiggrin.gif

To do:

wash sheets

remake bed

empty downstairs dishwasher

do some decluttering

list stuff for sale

hang out delicates

move some stuff under house

shower

I so know this feeling CW. One day I'm full of energy, the next blah. I guess it's hormones? irked.gif

Happy New Year. champagne.gif And congrats on your new dishwasher. I know you've been waiting for a long time to get it.

Oki, migraines are rough! I get severe ones a few times a year. Hope you are well enough tomorrow to enjoy your New Years plans! (Sounds like a great day!)

Poetry! Congrats on becoming an aunt! smile.gif

Today I ran around and did a bunch of things I needed to finish up. Including getting some new mason jars! smile.gif I love seeing my clusters of jars filled with good things to eat...in kind of the same way I loved my freshly laundered, neatly folded and stacked prefolds when my littles were in diapers. smile.gif

Tomorrow, my NYE plans consist of staying in and going thru every cabinet, closet, drawer, corner in my house to re-organize and clean. I tried to get started, but didn't get very far. The only thing that will get me out of the house is a call to a birth! Oh! And picking up our new to us kitchen table, which I'm super happy about! I've wanted a square table to seat 8 for years, and I've also wanted a table I could do a tile mosiac on top. This one is both! And its free! smile.gif

Okay, I'm back. Deciding to post before bed. that might motivate me to do a bit of kitchen cleaning before bed instead of leaving it till tomorrow. If I am really on the ball and don't stay online for an hour or 2, I'll get some work done, then have time to read before I turn out the light. Right?

Might as well think about tomorrow . . .I wonder if it's time to take down the tree . . . maybe bring a desk in from the garage and set it up for dd2 . . . which will take some reorganizing to make space . . . yeah, that's probably it, unless something else comes up in the mean time. Good night all, sweet dreams.

Happy New Year.
I've been in a real funk lately, and I'm hoping that this turns around soon. I think it's because I'm in a state of transition. I passed my Boards, so I'm looking for a p/t job. The transitions are so tough sometimes... I really need to live in the present moment, in a state of Gratitude. This is my goal.

Today I:
*started a new 2012 Journal smile.gif
*slept in late
*read the paper
*made breakfast and tea
*took out the trash
*made the bed
*made black eyed peas for good luck
*washed a bunch of pots
*rinsed the dishes and cleaned the counters
*walked
*made dinner, rinsed the dishes and cleaned the counters

I hope to:
*fold and put away clothes
*read and relax

I haven't done anything yet.. My kids are really acting up and just dealing with them is taking all my energy.. I swear some aliens have taken my kids and left others in their place because they are just acting totally different than their usual selves. Its wearing me out and Im so close to losing it that the thought of trying to do anything on top of taking care of them makes me want to SCREAM.

Im going to go throw sandwiches together for dinner and then rotate the laundry.. Hopefully I can at least get my room and the living room/kitchen done today but we will see.
