Did another 15 minutes. Washed a load of dishes, wiped the counter, flipped the laundry and picked up a couple things in the living room.

Thanks so much ladies. I'm feeling a little better, but still taking it easy. I haven't been able to shake this cough yet and it's keeping me up all night.

Today my motto is: Life can be easy. Keep things simple. smile.gif

Today I:
*made breakfast
*got DD off to school
*made the bed
*did 2 loads of laundry
*cleaned up the mess DD and her friends made painting last night
*cleared the kitchen (dishes rinsed, counters clean)
*took out the trash
*took a nap

I hope to eventually:
*study a little
*print out an application
*tutor

Nice to see so many on the thread. banana.gif

Thanks Graceie,
I've been drinking tons of tea and honey and taking Coricidin HBP and I'm still up all night with a dry cough. I can't sleep for 3 nights now. I'm going to go drink more water...

bejeweled, take it easy until that cough goes away.. You don't want to get any sicker..

I haven't been doing much today, I put in a movie and took a nap while the girls watched it redface.gif then they took a nap while I read. If I knew they were both going to take naps I would have put them down earlier and slept at the same time they did!

Now Im going to go work on some sewing projects

Ok, its 330 and instead of sewing like I said I was going to I played with the girls.. Ooops, I will get some done tonight/tomorrow.

Things I need to get done in the next few hours/tonight:

- finish hair tie organizer (I have it laid out on the dining room table so it needs to get done before the kids get into it!)

- general clean up

- find calender and figure out when tomorrows appointment is

- dinner: shake and bake chicken and mashed potatoes with broccoli on the side

- dinner clean up

- put away dishes that have been air drying on the sink since last night redface.gif

- rewash laundry (I forgot to add soap I think, it still smells)

- hound DH into cleaning out the car and putting the bags in.. really this does eventually need to get done ROTFLMAO.gif

-upload song list onto DH's IPod

- find ID and drivers license

Good Morning. I hope everyone is doing well. I got 4 hours of sleep last night and feel like a new person. What a difference some sleep can make.
Clutterwarrior, I was glad to see that noone was killed in that huge hurricane.

Today I:
*made breakfast
*got DD off to school
*cleared the kitchen (dishes rinsed, counters cleaned)
*took out the trash
*started a load of laundry
*wiped down the bathrooms
*straightened the living room
*cleaned the litter box
*made the bed
*took a nap
*ran a few errands. We're expecting our first snow of the year in Texas!

I hope to:
*study well reading.gif
*print out an application

Have a good day.

Hi everyone.  The last couple days have been days for cooking and playing games and shoveling snow, but it's time for a to-do list again.  Party Friday night!

For today:

-finish homework

-study for quiz

-make a cake

-make pizza dough

For today or tomorrow

-clean the kitchen, again (dishes, counters, floor)

-clean the bathroom (organize shelves, clean toilet, clean floor, clean sink)

-declutter living room (might be a job for DH)

-get groceries

-shovel out driveway and car :/

No problem!

Thanks! I'm getting pretty close to having the whole house decluttered and organized, so I'm very motivated!

Good for you! Toward the end of my third pregnancy I did the movie-and-a-nap thing nearly every day.

So far today I have cleaned the toilet and the floor around the toilet, since my 5yo has horrible aim and managed to get pee EVERYWHERE this morning. irked.gif

I plan to:

-organize game shelf, since I never got to that yesterday

-bring garbage cans & recycling bins around to the back of the house and shoveled while I was out there

-declutter cabinet at the bottom of the microwave cart

-sweep and mop

-vacuum

-one load of laundry washed and put away

-do ds1's schoolwork

-empty bathroom wastebasket

-keep up with dishes so far so good :)

-clear off top of kitchen cabinets

-bonus points: go through Christmas decorations, get rid of some things, and pack them away more efficiently (I just kind of tossed everything haphazardly into boxes after Christmas)

I also installed a rack in the playroom for the boys' dress-up clothes.

Have a great day, everyone!

Thanks Bejeweled.

There was initially great relief round the nation that there were no deaths...however they have now found that sadly one person did die, a 23 year old man.

I am just hoping that no more bodies will be found.

Off to peel potatoes for dinner.

Hmm...better actually get off my chair then hadn't I.......Bolt.gif

Got up. Made bed. Got dressed. Load of laundry. Made coffee. DD already up, got DD2 up, DS still in bed (faint smiley not working)

Today, I want to get another 2 or 3 loads of laundry washed, folded and dried. Do a load of dishes before and after dinner. Make homemade spaghetti sauce with meatballs for dinner and 2 projects: one is a growth chart we need to decorate that DD got for Christmas, the other is a trip to the library which I suggested to the kids yesterday. Oh yeah, I need to go to the gym too. smile.gif
