SLIM STAY DRY DIPE FOR CHUNKY BABY?

Ds who is 4 months does not like prefolds w/ covers (pul or wool). I think it is a mix between the wetness next to his skin and the bulkiness of the pf and cover.....Can anyone recommend a good dipe that he might like? I used fb's in the past but they were so stinky all the time which is why I switched to cotton and wool this time.......

I am going to suggest Bum Genius pocket diapers. Depending on how much liquid your 4 month old is putting out, you may even be able to use the extra insert as the main insert and lessen the bulk by 50%. The material in the pocket diapers has a more stay dry feel, IMO. Im not sure how you are doing prefolds and covers, but you can also use 3 ply gerber prefolds instead of the 6 ply to lessen the bulk. I reuse the covers more than once, which encourages me to change DD more often. If she pees, I just pop another prefold on with the same cover (if we are at home. When we are out, I use BG pocket diapers. Also, I use the BG pocket diapers as the cover for my prefolds pretty regularly).
