Very confused - is 15 month old weaning?

Ds is 15.5 months old and has always been a super nurser. We co sleep and he nurses A TON overnight- especially when teething. However- the past week he has stopped asking to nurse in the afternoon. So he's only nursing before his nap (and sometimes he falls asleep so fast he hardly nurses- and sometimes right after nap to kinda ease himself awake. Like I said, he still nurses at bedtime and often at night (maybe 4-10 times depending on night) so I know he's not done breastfeeding.... 15 mths is so young! But it feels odd- like he's no longer ever nursing when he's awake! And I just realized it. I'm so emotional about it, but also so confused. Should I be giving him other milks during the day? Cow? (grosses me out for some reason) soy? Hemp? Almond? Rice? How much ? Right now hehas boob, water, Keifer (sometimes- and He doesn't drink that much...) a bit of almond or soy or hemp in smoothies... And that's it. I'm so unprepared to have a weaned toddler... But I'm realizing I better figure it out!

My youngest past that "seasons" with  less nursing sessions. Check out what is happening in your life this days, Are you busier than usual?, Is he some new skills/languages?. Sometimes is kids are getting super busy and we need to offer more down times= nursing sessions

15 mo still very young for self weaning. Just my 2 cents.

between 13 and 14 months my DD started dropping her nursing sessions to first thing in the morning, before and after nap, bedtime, and overnight (until she nightweaned at 15 months). she also stopped taking a bottle while I was at work (so those days there was no before and after nap nursing). at 20 months she still nurses first thing in the morning, before and after nap, and before bed. she also nurses occasionally during the day. I'm pregnant, and down to just colostrum, but I haven't felt the need to start offering other milks. she drinks lots of water and eats lots of solids or all different types, so I haven't worried about a nutritional need for a "milk"
