PAINFUL Baby Movements - NORMAL?!

I'm 33W along with #2 and for a while now, baby's movements have been painful to me. First it felt like having someone rake their elbow across my tummy fairly hard - which of course would be somewhat painful. I remember having that feeling when PG with my DS.

But now sometimes I'll be in a slight amount of pain basically non-stop for hours on end when baby is active. It feels like she is constantly exerting pressure - trying to stretch out & extend herself. It's a pressure & stretching sensation that is uncomfortable & slightly painful.

Normal?

The MWs seem dismissive of it, so I guess it's not a problem. But it's really starting to make me seriously )@#&*(#%&*(#%&*() PISSED!

Yes, normal...sorry mama!!! I'm 29 wks and experiencing the same thing.

With my daughter, I described the feeling as "You know those shiatsu massage chairs with the roller balls in them? the kind in the mall, or that they have sitting out at bed bath and beyond? It's like those massage chairs, but the roller balls are INSIDE."

And those chairs hurt me on the outside! No wonder it hurts inside too. Baby elbows and knees and heels can be surprisingly strong and bony. This baby does the same...has an hour or two of very active....something. Zumba? Who knows. And it hurts!!! I love feeling him when he is gentle, but I'm OK with him sleeping too!!!

Try two moving in there. And I was a small girl, not a fluffy. Two over 6 pound girls, shiastsuing the h3ll out of my insides. At first it was cute, now its just agony. Especially when they both get hiccups lol. Im 36 weeks!

DS used to punch me repeatedly, like that scene in Kill Bill 2 where she's karate punching her way out of the buried coffin...  Or at least, that's how it felt...

You could try doing some extra time on hands and knees, inversions, ligament release, and/or getting chiropractic adjustments. I think it's probably just an active kiddo, but maybe if your uterus is a little tweaked from a tight ligament (and maybe it's making it harder for babe to settle into a good position), it could be hurting more than it would otherwise.
