Tea themed movies??

My DD (10) is having a slumber party with a tea party theme (NOT the political party!!). She's having the girls wear fancy clothes and we're having bite sized dessert items and tea in a fancy pot with fancy china, etc. She wants to have a movie they can watch later in the night and I am trying to think of something either about tea or where the characters drink tea, that is also appropriate for 10-11 year olds. I was trying to think of something British maybe where they drink tea. Any ideas??

Alice in Wonderland (any version), of course!

I also believe there's a funny tea party scene in Emma, which should be perfect for 10-11 year olds.

Oh those are both good suggestions. Haven't seen the newer version of Alice in Wonderland. That one never occurred to me.

Oooh, there's My Fair Lady, too, when Higgins takes Eliza to a society tea party, and discovers that her accent is impeccable but her conversation skills could use some work ...

Not appropriate for the age of your guests, but there is Tea and Sympathy, the 1956 Deborah Kerr film ("Years from now when you talk about this, and you will, be kind.")

I think that there is a tea party in the most recent Toy Story movie, and wasn't there one in one of the earlier movies?

In The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe, Mr. Tumnus invites Lucy to tea when they first meet. I think that scene is in the movie, but I'm not 100% sure.

Oh thanks! More good ideas. I'll see which of these the public library has. I also found an old Doris Day movie called "Tea for Two."
