Early Pregnancy -HELP- Cramps and Pains

I'm 4 weeks/4 days and I'm having cramps throughout the day. Nothing constant, more like every few hours or sometimes right before bed. Is this normal? Also, when I sneeze or get up quickly I get a quick pulling pain in my ovaries. These aren't intense cramps or severely bad pains - I'm jus wondering what's going on.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice?

I'm still searching for a midwife, so until then, I'm reaching out to all mama's out there!

Thanks Ladies!

Totally normal. I always get these with early pregnancy. Your body is getting ready to house baby so little changes are in order. With my oldest I went to my regular dr and he freaked and sent me to the er thinking it was ectopic. Nothing of the sort! I wouldn't worry about it!

Sounds normal to me.  I'm a first time mom and I'm now a day shy of 13 wks and I've had those feelings since before my BFP.  It's been getting better the last couple weeks.  I think it's easy to freak out (I did), but I think if there's no blood, you're good to go.

I'm so glad there are first timers experiencing the same thing as well as women who have been through it before! It's so helpful. Miscarriage has been racing through my mind and I feel like it's ruining some of the excitement.

I think if I just remember to keep breathing, I'll be okay :)

My breasts are killing me. I just had to say it. If my fiance even looks in the general direction of my nipples, I swear they start to ache. I cann't believe they are so big and painful! Whew, glad I got that off my chest. <-- insert lame pun here

Thanks for listening girls :)

It's tough not to worry about miscarriage but it sounds like you're fine. I've had that feeling with all of mine and it's normal. Just hang in there and enjoy early pregnancy and not being as big as a house for a while! :)

just to chime in with alittle more encouragement, its definitely normal! especially at 4 weeks!

i have been particularly crampy this entire pregnancy and it worried me at first too.. but you just gotta know that everything is moving around and stretching and though it quite uncomfortable.. its a good thing!

I had the same pains last pregnancy (have a healthy 13 month old now) and have the same again the last few weeks (am 8 weeks pregnant now). The other day I rolled over to reach for something and it HURT! Totally normal and the same as my last pregnancy though. I think some of it can be called round ligament pain... and the cyst on your ovary (the corpus callosum) which is what puts out all the hormones until the placenta takes over can pain too.
