Cerebral Palsy and muscle cramps/spams

I know there are a few others here who have CP or have kids with CP. My daughter has been having muscle cramps and spasms in her feet and legs lately. Tonight her leg cramped up so badly she fell out of her chair bawling.gif and landed right on her noggin.Otherwise she isn't usually tight. I don't know what gives. Any advice?

If the potassium level in the body is too low, it can cause muscle cramps.  Is she taking any medication that might affect her potassium levels?  Could she be dehydrated?

she takes no medications and hasn't in a while. I don't think she was dehydrated today.
