Crock Pot question quick help!

I've got all fresh chopped up veggies and some chicken in my crock pot ready to make a casserole, but what do I use for liquid? I've looked online and it just says 'stock' so does that mean I make stock or gravy in a saucepan on the stove first, then add it to the crock pot while still hot? Im confused! please help!

If I was making a dish like yours, I would just put a glass or two of water or maybe a glass of wine and one of water if i wanted to add a little extra flavor. . Because in my opinion the veggeies and chicken make their own stock and using a boullion cube is just a wate of time. Just my 2 cents though. Put in some water and just look from time to time to make sure its enough =).
