Scrotum turning white?!

Okay so I'm not sure exactly where to ask but this might be something someone here may have noticed.  Occasionally when I hold my DS (now 7.5 weeks) over his potty his scrotum turns white like the circulation is being cut off.  I haven't noticed it at any other time (although he's in diapers whenever he's not pottying or being changed) and if I poke it a few times the color comes back pretty quickly.  Does anyone have ANY clue maybe why this is happening?

cold? I've never noticed anything like that with my DS.

With my DS that means he is going to poop.  Just wait for it...

My DS's scrotum turned white and shrunk up before he pooped and sometimes when he peed I think (can't quite remember if it was also when he peed because he is a grad now). It was actually one of the ways we knew he had to go! 

 

Editing to add..

I just started babysitting a baby who just turned 7 months and we EC. Before he poops his scrotum turns white too. When it shrinks up and turns white, we know a poop is ready to roll!
