I'm looking for tips to help my 9 year old DD get some more sleep. Â DC has started to have frequent night wakings and seems to be in a state of confusional arousal when she does wake up. Â After doing some research today it seems the most likely cause is sleep deprivation. Â

She really doesn't have any other symptoms of sleep deprivation that I can tell but there have been many nights this past school year where she is awake until 10pm. Â Because she seemed fine, I didn't really worry about it...oops. Â

That brings me here. Â I know there are tips and ticks galore for getting a young child to sleep but what about an older child? Â Any magic solutions? Â WWYD? Â
