TMI: Toddler Allergy Poop?

This is going to be a TMI thread but I need some input from allergy familiar mamas.  Right now I'm doing a milk elimination diet for my DD.  There have three "accidents" where she ingested some dairy.  Three days ago Gramma gave her ranch dressing w/o realizing it was dairy and at school yesterday she had oreos (I didn't now it was a special treat day) and then later at her other gramma's house she had some Annies Grahm cookies (Im thinking those are made with dairy.. not sure).  Anyways, I hope that didn't mess up the diet too much.

On to the poop... She's always had soft poops.  they are formed but are the consistency of chocolate mouse bigeyes.gif.  I've asked her doctor continually about it but he says "It's normal".  I don't think it's normal.  It's also yellow-ish in color and seems to have a white film over it (sry this is getting way TMI).  Today I noticed she pooped out an undigested almond faint.gif.

I just want some opinions on poop (haha).  Her poop has always been like this but now that I am really considering food intolerances I've realized that maybe her poop isn't normal.  We haven't being bfing for over a year so she really does not have a reason to have soft poop.  Also, she hasn't had a lot of fruit in the last few days.  Actually, barely any fruit because we are out.

Not much help on the poop front but oreo's are dairy free :)

I would try a probiotic.  My DS never had a normal poop till we started him on them about 3 months ago. A serious life changer for him!  We use Custom Probiotics (they are dairy free) and if you email them, they'll send you a sample so you can see if they help.

Hey Thanks  for this!  I will definitely check out probiotics for her.  She just recently had antibiotics for the first time.  She's 3.5.  BUT I have had a lot of yeast problems that I'm trying to resolve so she must have some yeast issues too.

I had no clue about oreos being dairy free!  That just made my night.  I never buy oreos but do love the "oreos" from TJs.  Maybe they are dairy free too!

Lorna Doone are also dairy/egg free ;)  Ask a Mom who has been nursing 2 food allergic kids for almost 4 years :) lol

(PS That was last time I checked.  As always, you need to double check to be sure they haven't changed something!)

oooh yummy!  definitely buying those!   I feel so bad for DD... so many things have to be cut out that you'd never think of as "dairy".
