Hi everyone!
This will be brief 'cause I have lots of work to do....But I thought it would be nice if we could still have a check-in type thread for daily support. I was really enjoying that in our other thread. It's of course, totally optional, but for those who like to chat each day, here we are!
Okay, enough blah, blah. Copying shamelessly from the October Mamas thread, I will ask a Question of the Week:
Have you bought/traded/made something yet for your new little one?
I'll answer first: We got our
when we were in NYC on holiday, so we immediately bought a cute little I Love NY onesie!
As for me, I'm feeling good today, much less anxious than last week, thanks to all for your support. I had a really good moment of revelation over the weekend that there is a really special little being in there & that I should love them & enjoy them as much as I can for as long as I can! A big deal for me 'cause I had been 'afraid to commit' in a way to this little one after a previous m/c.
In other news, I'm changing jobs-- a good move that I'm excited about, and a 6 month placement that will take me to the start of my mat leave!
In bad pg woman moments, I had to take dw to the hospital at 12:45 a.m. on Monday after she cut her hand with an exacto knife! Home repair project gone bad. Poor dw, she was in so much pain, but had to keep telling me to sit down because apparently I was turning white & green in front of her & she thought I would throw up or pass out! 8 stitches later, she is ok.
over to all of you, mamas!

I'll have tons of dipes in no time!!
but I so admire craftiness! And I think I have to make at least one thing for my babe...maybe cross-stitch, I like that...
to you & your little guy -sorry he's still sick! Interesting dream...

It is a little early, but I would say this is another symptomless pregnancy. I did get a call from my midwife that one of my initial labs came up funny. Wierd since I just had a baby 14 months ago and everything was fine. They had never had a result come back like mine - weakly reactive Hep B --- neither positive or negative. DH is ahealthcare worker though, so I am going to have a more in depth test to show that it is just some sort of crossreactivity and not the actual virus. Very wierd.
