I'm on such a high today!

1)  I received my first childsupport check through the department of child support payment! yea, no more worrying about if  I get it or not.

2)  I got an email from my attorny's assistant letting me know sbx's second attorney put in a motion to be allowed to withdraw from representing sbx!!! This is seriously the second attorny who has done this!

You know the olD saying......Only a fool hires himself as an attorney.

Guess who's representing himself on Feb 7th for contempt?  is it really bad that I'm laughing my head off?

Yay for you! That is great that your ex's attorney is getting out of there. That will show the court what a nut your ex probably is. I'm hoping my ex will shoot himself in the foot again and cause the same thing with his attorney. The guy is already mad at him for lying about a few MAJOR details, and he is the second attorney my ex has seen. He actually asked MY attorney if my ex just chronically lies. It was so nice to hear this because it totally validated my distrust of him, even though I didn't realize he was lying to me for years until more recently.

Anyway, again, yay for you! I hope it all works out in your favor.

That is wonderful!!  I will say though that even though you are getting child support now there is no guarantee that it will keep coming monthly.  Have a backup plan or keep some in savings for if it does stop suddenly.  They have to keep their jobs in order for the state to garnish it even when you use the child support enforcement people with the state to collect the money.
