Silly Q about FMU

Ok, so I know that testing early means I need to test with FMU, right? (Tomorrow will be 10 dpo.) However, how much sleep is enough for FMU?

My ODS is 3.5 and has decided he's old enough to sleep with underpants instead of a trainer. He was dry for weeks--until he started underwear. So, I've been up once a night to change him and the bed. Of course, if I'm up I'll pee. My 19 mo old has zero interest in STTN and wakes 2-3 times. Of course, if I'm up I'll pee. I get about 3-4 hours straight sleep most nights, sometimes less. Does anyone know if this is enough for a test? I'm not sure I can hold out to 14 or 15 dop!

So really I have no idea, but just thinking about it for a while, I would think that as long as you aren't drinking anything when you get up with your bo ys & watering down your urine, you should be fine to test when you get up in the am. You just want the hcg most concentrated. Or if you are concerned, you could just pee a.little into a cup overnight and a little more in the morning when you test... I dont know, maybe I'm crazy! I just wanted to try and figure something out for you. Good luck, hope you get your bfp!

Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty sure I was/am over thinking this in the hopes of getting a BFP as soon as possible ;) I like your reasoning, though, and I don't get anything to drink. Usually, I just solve the problem and go back to bed.

I got about 3 uninterrupted hours last night and a BFN this morning. Today is still early for my body so I won't loose hope...but I'm glad I won't be tempted pretend I don't hear the kids tonight (as if I would). We'll see what tomorrow brings!
