Ballet Shrug/cropped sweater pattern for knitting or crocheting?

Hi, I searched Ravelry already and I think I'm going to knit a ballet shrug out of bulky yarn for my 4yo dd. It's this one:

I was wondering, though, is it possible to crochet a sweater without making it in multiple pieces and then seaming everything together?  BTDT and hated the seaming. Does anyone have a pattern for a sweater like that?

TIA

Deb

That is super-cute! Have fun w it, but I am sorry I don't have a pattern for you.

I generally make it up as I go, and have knit seemless sweaters, sox, diaper covers, and even gloves and mittens before. I just alter an existing pattern-- sry it's kind of hard to describe how w/o  showing you, but I assure you, it is possible and not too difficult if you are already an experienced knitter. You'll want several sets of doublepoint needles.

Blessings, and you could post pix as you go-- we'd love to see!
