What do you expect at a consultation with a naturopathic doctor?

Well, they will take a full health history, look at your tongue, feel  your pulse, ask you lots of questions, maybe do some muscle testing, and possibly order some saliva tests or blood tests.  Generally, you will walk out feeling like you were heard and hopeful that you will find an answer for what is bothering you. 

We go to our naturopath as our primary care physician. I much prefer the care they give.  If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to try to answer them.

I went to a naturopath a few years ago.  He looked at my tongue, abdomen, feet, and fingernails.  He took all of my health history.  Then he suggested different testing.

I went to a DIFFERENT naturopath a couple of months ago and he didn't even touch me.  He asked me what I went there for, and then suggested testing.  Didn't look at my tongue, nails, etc.  It was rediculous for $110.00.
