silly question: frozen veggies organic too?

we're pretty much a dirty-dozen-organic-produce family :) if it's not on the 'dirty dozen', unless it's on sale, i usually don't bother with it organic; but if it is, i almost always do, and always if it's for the baby. i say that just so you know what level of importance buying organic is to me.

so this might sound dumb.... but it counts for bags of frozen veggies too, right? for the most part the ones i buy frozen aren't the ones that i buy organic, so it hasn't really come up. but we've been unable to get organic bell peppers for months in this region, and it's starting to drive me crazy :) so i thought i'd buy frozen. but i shouldn't, right? i mean obviously unless i can find organic, which i can't. thanks :)

I always assumed it was the same fresh or frozen. I don't think they grow veggies differently based on if they are going to freeze them or not.

I hear ya on the peppers. Organic ones are so expensive but bell peppers are so high on the dirty dozen list. But I love them in so many dishes.

Last year I grew a whole bunch of peppers and chopped and froze them in baggies because I always have this problem in the winter.

We grow and freeze too.  They saute fine after being frozen, plus I sometimes stuff them.  Usually I get thru the whole winter that way.
