Position of this baby?

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow, and I'm almost 100% sure baby is head down.  She was during an U/S at 25 weeks and I've been feeling hiccups down low and feet up high.

Here is where I get confused.  When I feel hiccups, they are almost always low and to my left.  I'm feeling what can only be a foot fairly consistently on the upper right side (just below and sometimes in my ribs.)

But then every once in a while I get these huge pushing sensations in the middle of my right side, near my belly button, and it feels like her butt must be pushing out.

I wish I could draw a picture, but anyway, can anyone explain to me what sort of position this sounds like?

Sounds like s/he might be switching between ROA and LOA...or who knows! Perhaps the sensations you're feeling don't correlate with any one position. dd did the ROA/LOA flipping thing right up to the end, which made me a bit anxious (I'm a zealous believer in fetal positioning), but in the end she landed in a perfect position, though she did have quite a short cord.

So head down and facing my back, but kind of rolling from one side to the other?

Yes! That's my guess, anyway. A good sign for good positioning! Just focus on sleeping on your left side, good sitting positions, etc.
