Strange as this may sound, I'm here because I've heard "bad" things on another parenting community site about this site. I've heard that you (gasp) don't condemn unassisted homebirth and unassisted pregnancy! Which means this might be where I belong!
Â
My youngest, IE, was born through unassisted homebirth at full-term last November. I have another son, N, who was born at 28 weeks gestation in January of 2010--- he's a whole year old now and doing so wonderfully his new pediatrician almost didn't believe he was a preemie, which I think is largely due to our natural, common sense method of parenting. I also had a daughter, E, who died several years ago at the age of three and a half after a long battle with pneumonia.

I am a SAHM with an antique human-powered sewing machine, all homemade soaps, and a washboard I actually use for washing clothes (of all things!). I'm looking forward to exploring and maybe finding a better fit here than the other parenting community site I visit.
