I believe I may have this.  I haven't been diagnosed, but I fit the symptom description very well.  Chronic dull ache in the pelvis that gets worse when standing, during menstruation, and after sex.  I had a some trouble during pregnancy, and then was in a lot of pain from it after the birth.  I'm 18 months post partum now, and while it has improved a lot, it's not gone.  I'm hoping to further improve the symptoms, and also proactively make things better for the next pregnancies and births.  Treatment suggestions online are vein embolization, birth control pills (yuck), removal of ovaries (hell no!!) or just taking pain relievers all the time (also yuck).  Anyone have this, been treated for it, or have ideas for improving things?

I'm curious about the vein embolization.  It sounds like they just completely block off the problem veins.  But, that makes me sort of nervous.  Blood flow in the pelvis is good for lots of reasons, just not when it gets backed up and swollen and painful.  Also wondering if it is wise to do this before having more babies, or if the problems will just come back with another pregnancy and I'd have to have the embolization procedure again.Â
