Anyone watch "Being Human" - the U.S. remake or the BBC original?

I looked for threads but didn't see one; please direct me if this is already on MDC...

What do you think about it?

I've only seen the remake.  I'm not sure about it yet.  It is not something I would normally watch but I like the idea for the show. I want to watch some of the original BBC episodes to see if I like those better.

I am watching it.  It's okay but not great.  It's a little boring.  the concept is good, but I'm not finding the characters particularly appealing, or maybe it's their story lines.  I'm just bored.  I want to like it, though, so I'm going to give it at least 6 episodes to see where they go with it.

That's how I felt about it.  I like the concept but it seemed to drag on and scenes with the woman who plays the ghost irritate me.  I do like the guy who plays the werewolf.

Maybe the BBC version is better.

Normally I do not like spooky type shows/movies (I'm a scared-y-cat)…but I thought this would be a nice balance having monsters trying to be human.  I thought it was unique until I read it was a remake of a current show.

I am watching both. The UK version is in it's 3rd season. I am surprised by how closely the US version is following the original. I thought they'd do different storylines.

Yeah, honestly, while I do love the characters and want to love the whole show I do find both versions boring. There just isn't enough going on. Occasionally there is a really exciting scene but most of the show is...just dull. Sally irritates me, too. I like Annie, the ghost on the UK version much better.
