4 year old with a bad latch

my almost 4 year old is losing her latch... is this just a natural progression/child led weaning?

she still asks for milk, gets on and attempts to latch then tells me the milk is "broken", or that it is only for her baby brother (20 mos), manages to get a bit of milk until i suggest she  get a better latch or get off redface.gif

i try to explain how to get a better latch but she just gets silly winky.gif

after reading in this forum a few months ago i was preparing myself for a couple more years  and now this latch issue is coming up...

I would assume that this is a natural progression. I do not have a child that old, yet, but I am tandem nursing a 1 yo and a 3yo. So, I wonder when this will come up for my kiddos.

yeah it feels really natural and easy going. i was looking at these articles last night-

so anyway i was just getting a little freaked out about weaning but now i realize that she might be totally done tomorrow or next week, or she may continue to pop on and check in for another year or so. clw rocks. love.gif
