I purchased a Kenmore Elite washer in August of 2010. I planned to get the dryer in December. The washer is a large, fancy, attractive piece of machinery that doesn't WASH. THERE IS NO AGITATION in this washing machine at all. The machine simply swishes the clothes around in the water with NO agitation. Dirt spots often remain in the clothes and the white clothes are NEVER cleaned. I often have to stop the wash cycle for a couple of minutes and hand wash some items. I got a 5 year extended  warranty contract, $1,430, WAIST OF MONEY. DON'T BUY ONE!
