If you have a boy that's +/- 18 months...

What size shoes does he wear?

I'm trying to pick up some used Keens and Crocs online, but I have no idea about sizing.  FWIW, my kid just turned a year and wears 12-18 month Robeez.

Help!

At 2 and a half he is  size 8.  Last year at 18 months he was size 6.  However, I highly recommned that you just bring him to a store and just have his feet measured.  Why take a chance on buying the wrong size.

FC - normally we do the whole "go to the store" route, but I am looking for sandals for the Summer.  Our Summers are fairly long so it's not an issue and they'll get a lot of use, I just don't know if I want to grab the size fives or the size eights.  Keens and Crocs are the only shoes I'll buy used (for walkers) since they don't leave indentations from the previous wearer.  Thanks for the info!

My kid just turned 19 months and he is a size 6. He has a pair of size six keens that he wears all the time, and they fit both with and without socks.

They're not going to fit by summer. PM me if you want me to send them to you when he outgrows them. They are dark blue with yellow on the sole.

My DS is 19 months and he is a size 6 or 6.5 depending on the brand...

I would use an online chart if you have a printer and find anything. I don't see anything on Keen's site, but, I'd call/email to see if there is anything I'm overlooking. My son was wearing an 8/9 at around 18 mos . . . which is large for his age.  He's 21 mos now and his size 8 boots look too small (like his toe is right up on the ends) and his size 9 shoes (different makers) look like they're fitting well with a little room in the toe (as he should have).

My first tip off that I was raising Big Foot should have been when the first walkers I bought him didn't fit when he was 12 mos old.  He wasn't with me and the sales person advised that the shoe size was "normal" for his age.

FWIW, my daughter's Keens seemed to run true to size.
