My nearly two and a half year old son is fast asleep right now but this is a mystery and I hope you can help......
Â
Yesterday he woke up and was lethargic and clingy. He threw up about 40 min after his am nursing followed by his probiotic. Then again three hours later, at noon after he ate a banana. He hasn't vomited since and has no other symptoms (no fever, etc.) other than being lethargic, wanting to be held and little to no appetite. He wanted juice and water all day yesterday and nibbled on some crackers on and off. He had strep in Oct. and not knowing anything on strep, I took him to the doctor (after 3-4 days of this) who of course prescribed anti-b's and I gave (although I will say it was scary to see him that way; way more lethargic and he vomited SEVERAL times over a 72-hour period). His symptoms presented very similarly though (came on gradually, no fever, loss of appetite, lethargic, vomiting). That's why I'm thinking it could be it again reoccurring (as anti-b's tend to allow) but I don't know. He hasn't eaten anything unusual or different that would lead me to believe it's a little bug............Any ideas on what this could be or if I should be concerned?Â
