Probiotic question

I just bought Natures Way kids probiotic and I didn't notice that it said " may contain residual amounts of milk or soy proteins."  Currently, my DD is on a dairy elimination diet.  I know this sounds like a dumb question but should I not give it to her?  I'm so p-oed because I don't think it's returnable (got it at a little health-food store).  I'm usually such a good label reader but I was in a rush.

It really depends on HOW sensitive your child is.  FTR, many pro b's are cultured on dairy. Also, drugs/health food products are not held to the same labeling laws.

We use Custom Probiotics and love them! They'll usually send you a sample if you request it.  My allergic DS takes them with no problem.  I did specifically ask if they are dairy free (with a long list of other stuff) though I didn't specifically ask what it is cultured on.

Its possible that the amount is fine, but since you're doing a dairy elimination you might want to wait to give them until later on and find some dairy-free ones for now.  The amount is small but there's no point in messing up your ED for it.

That's smart!  I can always save them!  Thank you!
