Hello, I wonder if anyone has any data or research that may show whether any correlation has been found between breastfeeding and negative immune results on titers? You'll need to know the context of my question before responding, please, in case I am wording this wrong:

My breastfeeding 4 yr old has not been vacced (yet/we are deciding on selective delayed schedule). We practice active, natural immune development through ext breastfeeding, excellent diet/restrictions, low OTC use, attachment parenting, etc. In her life, she has been diagnosed with Measels & Pertussis in 2's/3's and had full symptoms of both. last summer, she was exposed (via saliva) to Chx Pox. She waxed & waned with lo grade fever but no other sympts after exposure.

We ran titers twice. Both times, all tests negative. It's been suggested that she in fact never had the illnesses/misdiagnosed, or not enough to develop immunity. Also, her immune system is very strong now. She rarely gets sick even after exposure to common illness via school & church, etc.

On the titers, if one illness was in question I would be satisfied with a misdiagnosis. However, since there are three illnesses in question, I am still looking for answers. Moreover, after the diagnosis of Measels, we learned there was a known outbreak in WI where we had just traveled. After the diagnosis of Pertussis, we learned there had been an outbreak in our own community, with a family of 5 girls (my daughter's age) from our church all having contracted it. So the diagnosis of these all seemed valid. The fact that her titers came back negative for *everything* (even for Roseola) despite that obvious rash, makes me suspicious. Additionally, since she did not really contract Chicken Pox makes me further wonder if the fact that she is still breastfeeding has anything to do with it:

I found this in my rsch and again, wonder if actual exposure could be affected the same way these vaccs were in 3rd world countries (note: I am looking at this from the assumption that women in India could have a healthier diet/lifestyle, in general, than the typical American diet/lifestyle): http://mobile.journals.lww.com/pidj/_layouts/oaks.journals.mobile/abstractviewer.aspx?year=2010&issue=10000&article=00007

no clue if this matters but I have a highly restricted (very healthy) diet as well and taking Rx IgG Immunoglobulins for my own immune-building (I have Hashimotos).

Has anyone heard of similar cases or reasearch related to this? Pls pass along any links or references. thank you!!
