Finally, after 3.5 years...

The special ed resource at my son's school spent an entire afternoon with the school board's head of gifted programming last week and started implementing some enrichment for him today.

I hate the way we got here, but the school is finally paying serious attention. 

Now, I am just hoping that we can use this to start rebuilding my son's self-confidence and reduce his anxiety about school.
