Hey gals - I wanted to pass this website along to you.  It has TTC stories from a bunch of women.  Perfect for a lurker like me :)

From another lurker ;) - wanted to pass along this great perspective on the waiting-to-conceive time:

http://www.consciousmotherhood.com/CM_theWaitingZone.html

And happy2bamama, my favourite experience from the site you posted was this one: http://www.tlcforttc.com/?p=71 This woman has evolved to develop such a great attitude about it all! She is truly the richer for having embarked on this ttc process.

Okay, so can I share something with you?  I am the person behind the TLC for TTC project and I posted it here for two reasons - I think the content would be SO beneficial to all these mamas on here and I also lurk here sometimes because we are slowly staring to TTC #2 and I find myself back in this place again even at month one! (Which is actually what spurred me to get the project up on the web - remembering how isolating and tough it can be).  And the other thing is that the story that you linked on here is actually MY own story - Violet - wow, how crazy is that?!  You nailed me! :)

And just for the record, my posting the link here is not to get hits or to make money (I don't have ads on there or anything that creates revenue anyway - that wasn't my reason for doing it) - it is purely about helping other mamas with this journey :)  That's why I didn't say it was mine at first because I didn't want people to think I was posting it for ulterior motives.  But once I was nailed, I had to come clean!!

Thanks so much for sharing with us! :)

That is awesome...what a co-incidence! Your site is a wonderful project. Your story stood out from all the rest because you moved beyond the vortex to gain some clear freeing perspectives that are such an inspiration to other mamas ttc. Plus the great positive attitude that I loved. I found myself really hoping Violet got her BFP and am happy to hear you're onto trying for #2 now! You should add the how you found out you were pregnant bit to your post on the site, I love reading about that part :)

Thank you so much for your kind words about my site and personal story :)  What was crazy to me is that even though I did move past the obsessing and the self-judgment and all that, I found myself sort of right back there immediately (the obsessing part, at least).  So it just goes to show how "enlightened" you can be about something but still have to work hard to stay that way!!  Thanks for your suggestion about adding how I found out I was pregnant.  It's something I may do in the future.  I omitted that part of it because I felt like when I was in the thick of TTC, I kept hearing story upon story of people struggling but then getting pregnant (most of them happened before year one) and I started to dislike hearing that because it made me feel like there was always a happy ending but there wasn't for me... yet.  And really, that was probably just my own issue - my own glum perspective at the time - so perhaps women would like to hear that part as well :)
