fatal error and editing question

Thread Starter

Two things.

I was trying to look back in the July DDC forum and got this message

Fatal error: Call to a member function result() on a non-object in /var/www/sites/www.mothering.com/releases/20110131233457/v2/system/application/libraries/HuddlerModel.php on line 1419

Also, sometimes when I'm writing a response to a thread sometimes it stops letting me add to the end of the message and only lets me type at the beginning of the message.  What am I doing to make this happen?  Thanks

Hi! Are you able to view the forum now? I'm not having any difficulty accessing it, and it might have been that we were undergoing a temporary maintenance issue. If you continue to see the same error code, in order to solve what's going on, I would need for you to fill out one of these bug reports so that we can diagnose what's going on for your particular browser and operating system's configuration. Most likely, it was a temporary glitch. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience you experienced though.

It sounds like it's a Firefox issue with our software. What we recommend is to change your editor mode to BB Code which is much more stable especially in Firefox. Another upside is that BB Code enables you to type smilie code directly into the post without opening up the smilie box. So, you can type :) and have smile.gif appear.
