escher I'm glad you u/s went well
afm spotting this am !
Happy Saturday girls,
Isa, I was just going to tell you that my SIL got negatives for 2 weeks before her BFP, but then I saw that you're on CD1. I'll move you to taking a break.
2ez, all you have to do is copy and paste the first post. I'm not in BB code editor or anything. I'll try to pretty it up a bit before you or anyone take over.
Escher, Yay for a good ultrasound!!!!!!!! Not temping has been lovely, I have had no desire to test yet. The plan is no testing unless Sara gets her period before I do. Since she's 4 or 5 days behind me (why do they say women sync up? I've lived with so many women and never synced up). I'm still so thrilled that you're pregnant.
Over here not much going on. My boobs are swollen to the point that their bottoms don't touch my chest (so, perkier than usual). I think they do that every month, tho. Well, they seem to do it on months I try, just to confuse me, I suppose. The kids have decided I'm pregnant this month. We got a pool pass at one of the local hotels and I was avoiding the hot tub. They asked why, I said I might be pregnant. They were like, "Really? You might be pregnant?!?" I reminded them that we had recently enjoyed frozen marshmallows and they were beside themselves. Ari has been talking to my belly. I asked if she wanted a boy or girl, if we are lucky. She said she thought it would be better to have a boy because Osha is the only boy and there are so many girls in our family already.
I had a dream last night that I was visiting a lesbian couple with a brand new baby. I carried her around and sang her sweet songs until she fell asleep and another baby showed up(I am not clear whose baby she was - couldn't have been mine, she was in a disposable diaper). She was 3 or 4 months so the songs were sillier and more tickle-y. Her diaper felt like hot jello, so I took her in the bathroom to change her. She'd had a poop blow out and my arm was hit. I pulled the diaper off her and poo went everywhere. I was wiping her with TP and afraid it would clog the toilet, so I called Osha to flush. He came in, hit the flusher and the toilet didn't flush, but a shower head above and in front of the toilet started spraying all over us. It was a mess! I was holding a filthy soiled kid and we were flooding the bathroom with clean water, but it was carrying poo all over from the floor where the diaper lay.
Strangely, I had several baby poop dreams when I was pregnant with Ari.
In other news, Sara has decided that if her parents are going to kill her in June, why not let them kill her in March? We just prepped the kids not to talk about it in front of her parents. (like, a few months ago when Ari said, in front of Sara's mom, "These mittens are too small for me, we can give them to the baby next winter.")
sera that all sounds good . you are a stronger women then I ( waiting to test wise ). I think that part of my inpatients is I am alone in this until I get a BFP then I will tell a few of my Friends
Hey all,
So i just finished my 5th dy of 50 mg clomid and I have felt... nothing. Did other people feel weird or anything? Is it likely to mess up my O date?
Go_Vegan: I felt nothing on Clomid the two times I was on it. Yes, it can change up your ovulation to a little earlier. Do you ovulate regularly or are you using Clomid to help you ovulate? I ovulated regularly and one time it made me ovulate a couple of days earlier than I would have expected.

AFM - Injectibles....here we come!
The u/s went good today. I did have 1 cyst on my left ovary measuring 14, but my estradiol was a nice 27, so my RE decided to go ahead and let me start Follistim tomorrow night. I am doing just 75 for the next 5 days. I'll go in next Thursday for another u/s and estradiol. My AMH was verrrry high so my doc is keeping my dosage fairly low. Hopefully, I won't produce like Octomom, but will have a couple viable follies that will actually mature and O this month!
Good to hear!!

Sorry about the BFN
There are a few great things about a winter baby! 1. You aren't SUPER pregnant when it's really, really hot outside. 2. You get lots of cuddles keeping baby warm (although I'm sure cuddles would happen anyway) 3. You'd have a BABY!!!
Glad to hear everything is trucking along!
Hmm do you normally spot mid cycle?
Afm, cd 29. I think if I did O it was likely on cd 25. So, if my LP is going to be a "good" length then I don't expect af for a little while. I went to "BirthFest" today and ran into the midwife that caught DD and also saw one of the doulas that attended our birth....who is FINALLY going to mail us some video she took of DD's birth! She already sent us a bunch of photos right away but I've been dying to see the video!
Carmen no not normally
vegan hope that's a good sign your unpleasant side effects are kept to a minimum and you get a BFP soon
MrsP~ Good luck with the paper!! I hope it's at least on a fun topic.
Carmen~ April seems really soon for sure! Then you'll have a new year's baby!
2ez~ A washer IS exciting!! And not having one is really tiring, I have to say. Nashville's such a great city. Hatch Show Print is one of the most amazing shops in the world.
Isa~ I'm so sorry. I'm sending you biggest hugs and best thoughts now. I agree, though, that if you've not seen blood, all hope is not lost. xoxoxox I hope Hawaii is as gorgeous as they say
Seraf~ I think it's a prophetic dream for sure. Especially the poop part ;) Hooray for perky boobs!
Carmen~ I hope your lp is long enough, even though that'll make an incredibly long cycle. The Birth Fest sounds really fun!!
AFM~ Not much. The handyman came and patched up a few spots in the ceiling. I'm really looking forward to getting the painting started. The librarian shower yesterday was very nice, though I didn't get a single book! DP thought that was hilarious. We did get the bassinette we wanted, though, so that's wonderful.
Still so tired. Looking forward to more sleeping in tomorrow.
Luck and love to all xoxo
Isa~ NIGHTMARE!!! I'm glad it worked out okay, but what a terrible experience on top of a disappointment. At least you can (and should) have all the umbrella drinks you want.
Sorry to be the bearer of sad news, but 5GrandBaby asked me to post here to tell about their recent loss. She went to the ER with abdominal pain and it was discovered that her ovaries had twisted around each other and the left one had necrotized and was filling her body with pus. They did emergency surgery to remove it and save her life, but sadly they lost the baby at 12 weeks, almost immediately after the surgery. She says she's doing well as can be expected, and is even more grateful to her wonderful partner. A very very sad story, but there it is.

Oh no. That is a sad story, indeed :( I hope she is able to heal well.
Library~ Cute Pic! That is the same color that we are going to paint our kitchen...this spring. It was between that and "Sunset".
Thanks also for the news about 5grandbaby. That is horrible...I'm glad that she is alright and on her way to healing.
Happy Sunday everyone!!!!

So sorry this cycle was a bust. I was really hoping for you. Maybe the time off is just what you need at this point. Try to enjoy yourself in Hawaii.
I thought blue veins in your chest were supposed to be an early pregnancy sign. Maybe you should test again in a few days just to be sure.

to everyone else!
I hope the rest of your vacation is smooth and fun!
Good Afternoon Ladies,
I am stopping by quickly because I have a question. DP and I have decided that we no longer want our KD to travel to donate (I will go into details later) which puts us at a crossroads A) Wait until after the wedding in Feb 2012 and find a new KD/Unknown Donor from Bank B) Try to find a way to have his sperm come to us without him actually coming to us. This is where my question comes in... I saw some information on the Rainbow Flag Health Services website about Donor Home Delivery- Essentially it is chilling the sperm and it is overnighted to us so that we can insem or have it prepared for IUI I have also saw something similar called BioTranz. Does anyone know anything about either of these or can point me in the right direction?
