Which Camera?

Hi everyone!
We need to buy a new digital camera to capture great pictures of the kiddos and I thought I'd see if anyone has reccomendations.  We don't want to spend more than 300$ but we don't want something that will break like the last one did!!

anyone have an inexpensive camera that they LOVE?

I just purchased a Canon from the target website. It was $89.00 , got great reviews and takes wonderful pics. Can't beat the price.

I really like my Casio.

It's my "pocket" camera.... I do have a Nikon D40 crazy camera too.

The Casio takes really nice pictures, focuses really quickly, and even has a setting for children that finds the face in a blur of movement. The Video option is even good! I have been really happy with it.  Quick and steady zoom, full flash.

CASIO EX-Z35SR 12.1MP DIGITAL CAMERA

There is no "viewfinder" to squint through, there is a huge LCD screen that you just point and shoot. I find this is PERFECT for on the go and at home... no, I don't work for them. :) But, I am a huge shutter bug (we had 12 photo albums filled before DD was born!)

Good luck!

Trin.
