My boys have always been heavy wetters. If wetness against the skin is a concern - you could use a microfleece liner. See, this would be a guaranteed leak for us. The bed would be soaked by 3 am. Dream-eze is the most absorbent sized fitted we've tried, and this morning my DS peed through it, a 2-layer wool flannel cover and his blanket sleeper to leave a puddle on the floor, and he'd only been in it about an hour. I love my Dream-Eze, but for a super soaker, they wont last the night, even with help.
