My baby girl was diagnosed with dandy walker variant when I was 19 weeks pregnant. We went through the testing, the worry, the waiting and the torture of uncertainty. Well she had an MRI the day after she was born...... The report read "small benign cyst of no consequence, negative for dandy walker"
She is 6 months old now and she is just fine and dandy. wink1.gif. Hope this helps someone breathe a little easier today.

Don't let the diagnosis scare you. My baby girl was diagnosed with dandy walker when I was 19 weeks pregnant. Well her MRI that was done the day after she was born showed only a tiny benign cyst of no consequence and negative for dandy walker. Ultrasounds CAN'T diagnose dandy walker, only an MRI can do that. Salem is 6 months old now and she is perfectly normal. Fine and dandy 😊
