Any Tips for a Newbie Knitter Getting Ready to Knit her First Pair of Longies?

I'm new at knitting, well, I've taken it up and put it down a few times.  I'm going to start making prayer shawls at church with the other ladies and get back into knitting enough to knit some cute longies.  I got the wonderpants pattern and am so excited!!

Any experienced longie knitters have any tips for me or links that will help a newbie out?

Thanks!orngbiggrin.gif

I'm not an old hat, but my first project was a pair of longies and now I just do dish cloths.  I loved knitting in the round on two circular needles , one leg at a time and then adding both legs to the needles and finishing the top.  There was no stitching required and I thought that was great!

This site proved really helpful to me as well http://www.knittinghelp.com/

Not familiar with that pattern, but I learned short rows with knittinghelp.com. Don't panic, just sit in front of the computer and replay the video while you do them.

Will do.  I'm still waiting for my yarn to get here.  I need to get some practice in.  winky.gif
