Another Snow Day! What to do with my 5 month old?

Hey Mamas,

So...the Bean and I are stuck inside once again because of bad weather (ice this time...).  While we had a great time yesterday, I'm wondering what new things we can do today.

What fun things do you do with your LO when you're stuck inside?

DS is 7 months 

He basically watches us as we go about our day, because I have a 3 year old too. 

I let him go in his swing thing (he loves that, I mean LOVES) 

I let him play with wooden blocks

He explores feeding with his net + some sweet potato or banana 

Tummy time/floor play 

He sits in the high chair and watches me cook

Thats really it

Snow day here too!  We put DS (6 months) in his jumperoo and put it in front of the sliding glass door.  He LOVED watching the snow fall.  Which is huge, because he's going through a phase right now where he hates everything - doesn't want to nurse, doesn't want to be held, doesn't want floor time... what he wants is to CRAWL but he can't figure out how.

Yep, sounds the same around here except we do a fair share of reading during the day too. Usually once in the morning before nap time and once or twice in the after noon and again in the evening for 10 or so minutes each time. DS loves it.

No snow here, so we take a walk too.

Ah yes! Reading -- DS hangs out (and annoys) his sister while I read to her and he has some board books.

we had a snow day here too and although my kiddo is older she was really losing it by late afternoon. i hadn't showered yet so ya know, we took a bath together. i thought i was just killing two birds with one stone but she totally chilled out and cheered up and we had more fun than i would've thought. she splashed around and got out of her crazy needy funk and i got to relax.
