"users subscribed to your activity feed." and "Following" ?s

under my activity feed it says "You currently have one (1) other users subscribed to your activity feed. " what does that mean? is that how many people are "following" me? is there a way to tell who that is?

also, i'm "following" several friends. does it show publicly who i am following? does that show up on their profile?

Hi, yes, it means that one person is "following" your posts. The software was designed so this feature is entirely anonymous and even staff won't know who is following whom. Your friends won't know it's you who is following them unless you tell them. I believe there are many improvements to this system down the road, but for now, it's all entirely anonymous.
