Non culinary uses for red wine

Is there anything I can do with almost a full bottle of red wine that is too old to drink or cook with? I hate dumping it down the drain, but we didn't like it and now I'm not sure what to do with it.

Well, this is a culinary use, but you could let it hang out until it turns to red wine vinegar for salad dressings and such.  I wonder if you could use it as a fabric dye?  It sure stains well, and is a pretty pinky-purple color.

You can't use old bad tasting wine to make vinegar. It just tastes nasty. And wine doesn't make a good dye either, because it changes color over time to murky brown. Sorry, I don't have any suggestions.
