Early Homeschool curriculum for game/art/nature/math loving child?

Hello, I'm the mom of two kids, DS 4.5 and DD 2. My son is in a preschool program three mornings a week right now, but I'm planning on homeschooling for kindergarden and as long as it continues to work for our family.  I'm gaining confidence as I read and prepare to fully homeschool, and I think we already have a good learning environment at home, but I still feel nervous about it. I think that having a curriculum could ground me and give us a good base for my own ideas. I don't relish the stress of trying to come up with everything on my own and reinvent the wheel so to speak, but I don't want to completely tie us down to a fully academic program for the early years, and I have some fun ideas of my own.

My son loves learning through playing games, exploring nature and the outdoors, arts and crafts, household jobs, and read-aloud-sessions. He's firm with his letters and is on the cusp of reading/writing, he makes some intuitive leaps with numbers and enjoys math oriented games and puzzles, he has all the shapes/colors etc. down. 

I read the post about Oak Meadow and have considered using that, but would like to know what other resources are out there that people have found fun, useful, and relatively easy to adapt.

We're using the 5-day Little Acorn Learning monthly e-books for dd's kindy year (starts this Sept.).  I have seen their samples and heard feedback that they are wonderful!  That, combined with just great literature and lots of play.
