anyone get pregnant very easily every time you 'tried' OR 'stopped preventing' - Page 2

My husband just has to look at me and I'm pregnant :)

First kid, I went off the pill and we were avoiding very lazily and unscientifically for 2 months because we wanted to have a child but weren't 100% sure it was time to try, and we had DS1. Second one, we'd agreed to avoid until I could finish my degree, we got to that time, sorta had the conversation, kinda, knew I was about to ovulate and we didn't use protection 2 times that month, right away we were expecting DS2. We're super fertile in the summertime for some reason.

Well, first off, it's waaaaaay easier for people under 25 to get pregnant. After 25, it's more normal to go more cycles.

Second, your pre-O temps are a smidge low, some of your cycles have post-O temps that are all over the board, and you're getting variable luteal phases. To me, that says hormone issues of some kind. Most obvious culprit for minor hormone imbalances would be your soy intake.

with my first child i wasn't even planning on having a baby and got pregnant while on bcp with my second child we didn't have that much luck with getting pregnant so easily and i was UNDER the age of 25 when i first started trying.  It took me a total of 4 1/2 years of active trying to finally get pregnant but only after the help of a fertlity specialist.  Now, my brother and SIL could just look at each other and get pregnant...that's why he's already had the big V lol or else they would have SEVERAL more children.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my charts. let me add that I work night shift, so my temps can be a little off at times. and yes, my LP's vary from 12-14 days, but are typically around 14 days. I cant imagine how my soy intake woudl affect my hormones? I dont eat alot of foods with soy in them?? but maybe im missing something?

soy is very high in estrogen and affects your hormones.

I've always gotten pregnant pretty easily. I had one "oops" at 20 from not taking my pill every day (which worked out great, because we got married and lived happily ever after), one where we decided to TTC and found out we were already pregnant, one that we were just not preventing and I got pregnant pretty quickly (I think I had one cycle between babies), and one where it took three whole months and I was starting to get upset! LOL. Then we actually had THREE pregnancies (including two losses) while actively trying to prevent.

After all that, I was still surprised when it only took us two cycles of not trying to prevent to get pregnant this time. I thought that with being 32, and having had two losses and then no pregnancies for a couple years that my fertility might be starting to decline. Nope. smile.gif

last year around this time we decided to start 'trying' in june, but stop preventing in may.

so of course, we were pregnant in may!  i'm 32, and it's my fifth little one, and only the 3rd we 'tried' for- each and every time we 'tried' we got pregnant that same cycle.

and 2 times, we tried to avoid, and somehow they snuck in.  i called one the Jack Bauer of sperm b/c it was cycle day 35 or later, and we were using withdrawal.  but somehow, it happened.  the other one got around condoms and it was cycle day 22 or later.

i think some of us have 'the odds be ever in our favor'
