Who is snowed in and cleaning?

We're on our second snow day.  It is too darn cold to go outside.

DS seems content to hang out and play.

So far I've:

-deep cleaned the main level including the washer/dryer and wiping down all doors, switchplates, etc.

-de-cobwebbed ceilings, vents and cleaned all ceiling fans.

-cleaned all the shelves in the library

-deep cleaned the upstairs

-working on washing ALL bedding.  Blankets, quilts, etc.

-straightened the very messy basement level.

-cleaned out the fridge, freezer and deep freezer.

-making turkey stock from turkey carcass and misc "stock veggies" found in freezer.

Still need to:

-clean bathrooms

-do floors/carpets

-clean downstairs

-consider cleaning all the kitchen cabinets and the baseboards.  Doubting I will get to that unless we have another snow day.

I'm also feeling the need to bake but then I'd need to eat the cookies AND clean the kitchen again.  :lol

We are!!  It is a decluttering party here.

So far we have 20 bags to donate.  We just have to go through the living room and the movies and we will be done.

And if we are stuck in longer I'm going to start on the attic and garage.

So much fun!  And our house feels so much better.

20 Bags!??!?!?  Wowzers!  Go you!

I finished the bathrooms, the downstairs and 2 beds.  I have one more load of blankets then I can make the other 2.  The extra guest bed can wait for another day.

I also ended up putting away a bunch of stuff that had been accumulating in the basement storage area.  Mostly pantry items and candles from our last power outage.

And my turkey stock is cooling on the stove.  It is so yummy.  I want to make soup.

Floors/carpets/baseboards/cabinets can also wait.  I'm sitting down having some tea right now.

And I resisted the urge to bake cookies.
